Hi! My name is Ana and I'm so glad you are here! 

 

After working in the corporate world for 20 years, it became clear that there was a constant in my personal and professional life that never changed: my love for dogs and helping people. At the end of 2023, I decided to share my lifelong passion for dog care. Best decision ever!

 

I've had 12 dogs of my own, taken care of family and friends’ pets, rescued stray dogs, volunteered at veterinary clinics and stayed involved with our local humane societies for over 3 decades. These experiences have taught me that each dog is individual and may sometimes come with unique challenges. This is what inspired me to pursue my Fear Free Pet Sitter Certification, to help dogs feel at ease with science-based strategies that prevent fear, anxiety and stress (FAS). I am also Pet First Aid & CPR certified to enhance the quality of care offered to the families I serve. I am an active member of PSI (Pet Sitters International), the world's leading educational association for professional pet sitters and dog walkers, which allows me to stay updated with continued education and the best practices within the industry. I am bonded, insured and background checked, because dogs and properties under my care are very important to me.

 

When I am not walking or sitting for my VP families, you may find me enjoying a hike with my husband, son, and our dog, Rocco, cooking, or catching up with friends at a local café patio (perhaps petting strangers' pups?!).
